Happy Lunar New Year to all my fellow Asians and to everyone else who celebrates! May this year bring strong horse-like bases, steady hoof-like hands, and galloping towards new heights.
I’m getting ready to hit the road again, this time to Laos. If anyone knows of an acro scene there, please hit reply and let me know. Otherwise, I’ll be off the regular acro circuit soaking up whatever adventure finds me.
This week’s edition is all about festivals, from snowy mountain gatherings, sunny beach vibes, and full-on European conventions stacked back-to-back.

This is our 14th annual Israel Acro Convention!
Come join us for a 4-day acro bonanza with over 70 international teachers, 120 classes, a world-class show, and the now world-renowned Acro-Olympic Games. You’ll wake up in an acro village surrounded by breathtaking views of the desert and the Dead Sea.
Programming spans all levels, from absolute beginners to super experienced, and everything in between. Expect acro of all kinds (L-base flow, standing acro, hand-to-hand, icarian and whip-pops), plus yoga, dance, stretching and massage classes, or topping-up your handstand skills. Classes are in English.
Most importantly, come meet our wonderful and fun community! No matter your gender, nationality, religious or political views, we welcome you with open arms. We firmly believe that acro is a place for everyone to meet and play!
